11:12 pm	James - Queen Mary Event 8-10 September Well been back from LA for a week now, still lcant back into the swing of things, i really feel like i found my home there in LA, i would so love to live in Santa Monica on the beach if i win the lottery tomorrow i am off. THe convention with James was out of this world, the ship was amazing like being on Titanic, very grand and very 1930s like going back in time. nice to see lots of familiar faces, Kath,diane,Lindsey amongst others and nice to meet some new friends like Maggie too.Ou suite was very nice and quite erasonably priced too think we got an upgrade. We saw James afte being on board 5 mins he came out of the lift and said hi, we melted before we had begun. THe whole weekend was well run, james was totally gorgeous of course, not sure if he is still attached either, but he seemed very happy anyway. Mercedes brought her little dog with her, Jane and David and Steve were a delight as always and for my autos i sat upstairs while they went through my sunnydale yearbook making comments its was great. We also got to see snippets of Shadow Puppets. also saw Tony Heads new pilot which was not picked up it was great. Really nervous about my pics with James 2 were ok didnt like the third, he looked so gorgeous in his tux i could have fainted, god those eyes! THe private reception on friday was a dream with only about 100 of us there we got a good view for the concert and i loved the new songs especially baby blue by Keb Mo, thought SAthy would love this one. Cryssie was a little upset he didnt greet us in the reception hall as we all got herded into dinner quickly as it was hot, he did sit on the tables for a chat twice with us though. i felt so lucky, met up with lots of people i knew too and met Maggie who was a sweetie. All over too soon on friday night though. Went to the bar for a few margaritas to recover, cryssie went back i stayed with tanja till late. good atmosphere in there. Saturday was the main day for pics and another concert and dinner in the evening the q & a sessions too, loads of time and i enjoyed the video screenings too, it was all so great.We were up and down like yoyos for photos and autographs, cryssie wanted to see Kevin Sorbo too and was pleased with her pics.Saturday night after the concert all the cast of shadow puppets were in the bar dancing was really good, met up with some guy from slough of all places wanted to know what we were all doing on the QM. Sunday was the auto sessions, Cryssie gave James her pressies, i was quite nervous shouldnt be now seen him so many times buti was i finally had a speech prepare but when he looked at me it all went away when he told me i had a beautiful smile and he always tells me every time he sees me - where have i been every other time i wondered whilst looking in those beutiful blue eyes! well that was it lost it after that of course.all too soon it was nearly over the play was amazing we all enjoyed it, if he had touched his crotch one last time i would have fainted, knows how to play a crowd that one, it was funny though. A few tearful goodbyes and it was all over by 6pm - but well worth 6000 mile trip. Then off to James home town of Santa monica for a week of recovery and sightseeing. We had the best time i really miss Tanja and Cryssie and want to go back asap bette start saving now then. just hope James comes to the UK for a proper convention next year so some of our othe friends can make it over too. 11:46 pm	James! Well this is just a Happy Birthday to the only man in my life ( well except he is not mine) James Marsters 44 today. In 2 weeks Cryssie, Tanja and myself will be jetting off to LA to meet the man himself as he is not gracing Europe with his presence this year we are going to him. must say with all thats been going on with the airlines this is scary but he is well worth it! We were lucky enough to get VIP tickets to his convention at Long Beach and have spent the past 4 months arranging hotels etc, only problem we have now is Cryssie does not drive and Tanja and I both dont have our licenses, i sent mine off weeks ago to get a photcard one and she has to change her into English Language from German so stressing now we get at least one back in time or we will be so stuck in LA without a car. Aside from the convention where we get to go to a cocktail party with James on the friday night (jumping up and down in excitement) we also intend to do all the tourist sites, ie hollywood, all the studios but i am also looking forward to seeing the location of "buffy's real house" in Torrance and the High SChool where everything is filmed. I know we are going to have a great time, just hope it doesnt go too quickly, i guess if we had thought about the flights sooner we could have made this nearly a 3 week trip rather than 11 days but hey its better than nothing at all. Its a shame some of ou othe buffy friends couldnt make it this time, Sathy, Erykah, rowena, lyvie and pat in particular but i know you wil lbe in spirit and hopefully we cal all meet up again next year if James comes back and also for the Starfury convention in blackpool if it goes ahead. I know i have been crap at keeping this up to date but will definitely do a tour report when we get back for those that couldnt make it. 11:26 am	November 18th 2005 Well two of my good friends Erykah and rowena are off to the Starfury Serenity Convention today and i really wish i had gone now. However as i have spent all my money this year on buffy conventions and chasing James around London it would have been unlikely anyway. Even though i havent seen the film yet and am more of a buffy fan than anything i would have loved to see Nathan Fillion. I am sure the girls will have a fab time and i am very jealous. Ro is getting me a signed photo of Nathan for my buffy collection though. Have fun girls drink lots for me. I am off to see my friends in lincoln tonight for the weekend instead. they recently got married and did me out of a wedding as it was only a very small affair with Marcs children and both parents, i never get to go to any weddings either, i still have a lot of friends who are single - not daft enough to get wed it would seem. well its Children in Need tonight so hope they raise lots of cash, i might just get to see the end by the time i get to Lincoln. I got a lovely cd of this years James Marsters Halloween event from my new friend Patrizia in Italy, it was really sweet and included photos from last Halloween as well which was good as i didnt have a decent camera for that one either. some of the photos bought back very happy memories, just the best weekend this year by far. 12:52 pm	Thoughts for today .... Well another week has passed since Halloween and i am finally coming doen off my high of seeing James again. I just hope we dont have to wait too long before he comes back again or i may have to take a trip to the US next year. a bit sad too that the Starfury Buffy/ angel cons may be coming to an end this will mean no more seeing the cast - not sure what i will do without them again America may be an option, i have ot have something to keep me sane (or insane as my friends would no doubt say - you lot know who you are!!) My friend Rowena delivered her first baby last night (shes a doctor) but she was more excited about winning another suit of Andy Halletts - she is as obsessed with him as i am with James, so pleased for her. I'm trying to convince her to get a mural done on her ceiling of the Green One! Should be funny. I was watching the Princess diana Panorama interview last night on tv and thinking how sad it all was, her last words were there is a future for me, my husband and the monarchy and within less than 2 years she was taken from us. She was a very special human being and i miss her so much. I have been as always this year to Althorp and Kensington Palace on her anniversary. I feel quite proud to be in the Diana Circle we try to keep her memory alive, she is so well loved unlike anyone else i think in my lifetime. I was lucky enough to meet her a few times and will treasure the memories so it was quite sad seeing the interview again, and hearing her voice. I have the joyous task of sorting my finances tonight for christmas not looking good, but i wouldn't have given up my buffy/angel weekends for anything this year its been a blast! looking forward to next year, better get saving. 12:44 pm	Halloween 2005 Well, i am sort of coming down from the extreme high of the weekend and seeing James Marsters and all of my friends in london for the 4 days we were there. so many funny episodes they still make me smile. I am still humming London City and Louise which were my fave new tracks from James. Big love and hugs to the girls for letting me corrupt them (except Eryckah who makde me worse!) Sathy, Cryssie, Marija, Patricia, Sylvie, Miranda and all the others i met during the weekend. I have to say i still love the Carling as a venue for concerts you can get right to the front and although it was my first time in the chuch of St James it wasnt the same as you couldnt get up and dance and sing loudly. words and misic was awesome, never seen any Shakespeare before but if james doex it i can be converted and Cheryl was bloody brilliant and a real sweetie too. to see it twice in one day was brilliant too. i was a littly hyper all weekend and our drinking sessions till 4am made me worse. as for our hotel from hell on friday and daturday night sorry sathy and cryssie but this was all very funny, i still think of us rolling around on the floor after opening the door of our room to find some man sleeping in there at 5am, i will never get over that one. Or harrassing the poor guy in Eryckahs hotel to serve us wine till they started laying out the breakfast tables - whoops! Marija, Patricia and Sylvie was lovely to welcome you to our "family" too. Marija too freaky that you go to school with Patricia - bloody weird. hope to see you at Starfury in May with me and Eryckah. i just love you giys and really miss you already, only been a week but this time last week we were queuing at St James waiting for our blue eyed boy to appear. If only time travel was possible. Its gonna take a while to get the tunes out of my head, will be needing a new cd of Civilized Man soon, my copy is worn to death.
